recently he has started providing freelance recording and
production to artists in the Chicago area. his portable
recording setup is an inexpensive alternative to studios. John's
services are available for a pre-determined fee and all styles
are welcome. interested parties are encouraged to get in touch.

- philosophy -
it is essential to first consider the goals of the musicians
in order to best understand the goals of the music they make.
there is no substitute for a comfortable confident performance,
and there is no greater service than the song. a unique product
comes about through unique circumstances and an open mind.
the ultimate goal: a great recording. it is more than a song, it is
the frozen essence of the song, given a world it's own to inhabit
and in which to grow into something bigger than itself.
